They also lead the charge at the 55th NAACP Image Awards, with Domingo receiving three nominations for his portrayal of Bayard Rustin in the biographical drama Rustin. The nominations include Outstanding Actor in a motion picture and Entertainer of the Year.
Edebiri, on the other hand, continues to gain recognition for her performance as young chef Sydney Adamu in the FX and Hulu series The Bear. After taking home the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and the Golden Globe for Best Actress, Edebiri is now nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress for The Bear and Guest Actress for her appearance in the sitcom Abbott Elementary at the NAACP Image Awards.
