Bettinelli-Olpin explained that Craven and Williamson were ready to let someone else inherit the popular series to add their perspective and continue its legacy. He said, “I think that they (Craven and Williamson) both felt like it was time to move onto new things and let someone else have a chance to continue the legacy of what they had created.”
