Sony has recently shared a brand new short film based on the Ghostbusters franchise, which is directed by Jason Reitman, on the internet. This fresh piece of content serves as a treat for fans who have been eagerly waiting for the upcoming movie “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
Titled “Ghostbusters: The Short: The Longest Night,” the short film is now available for free on YouTube. With a runtime of 10 minutes, the video brings together original cast members and new additions alike. The video starts with the iconic ECTO-1 car driving through a snowy landscape, followed by a series of interviews with the cast.
In the short, the fans can catch a glimpse of Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard discussing their characters, while Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson reminisce about their experiences from the first movie. Additionally, the short film features the actors assembling a sizzle reel, and even a horde of mini Stay Puft Marshmallow men.
The new Ghostbusters installment, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” is set to be released on November 19, 2021.
