Zachary Quinto, known for portraying Mr. Spock in the Star Trek film series, has passed on the mantle of the iconic role to Ethan Peck. In a recent interview, Quinto shared his excitement and support for Peck to take over the character initially brought to life by the late Leonard Nimoy.
Quinto expressed his gratitude to Nimoy, who had played Spock in the original Star Trek series and movies. He shared, “Leonard was such a tremendous guy… and I felt like he gave me his blessing and I’m forever grateful for that.” Quinto also acknowledged Peck’s ability to “carry on” the legacy of Nimoy in future iterations of the franchise.
Ethan Peck will be starring as the beloved character Mr. Spock in the upcoming season of Star Trek: Discovery.
