It may enjoy gentle ocean breezes, white sand beaches and lovely swaying palms, but Miami gets more than its share of skulduggery, and seems to have no shortage of lowlifes in high stations. One of them is Arthur Herk, an alcoholic, television-addled businessman who’s not averse to operating just beyond the bounds of the law and good manners. When a suitcase arrives in town, Arthur goes out of his way to retrieve it — but will have to contend with a couple of hit men who are determined to plant him six feet under. Arthur’s wife Anna, along with his daughter Jenny, stray into new romantic involvements, while a couple of small-time criminals enter the picture. They’re after the case, naturally, and soon are leading Arthur and the Miami cops on a crazy pursuit that leads to the airport and utter chaos.
