Overview

Two struggling actresses who are obsessed with making it in the musical theater business accidentally witness a mob hit in Chicago. To escape trouble they flee to L.A. where they continue to struggle, but then get the idea to market their acting skills by posing as male drag queens. Their new act becomes a success. The pair vow to each other to swear off men so as not to derail their careers. However, trouble ensues when a man falls in love with one of the girls, and their show also grows in popularity, threatening to blow their cover with the mob.
