Overview

Washed-up 70’s TV child star Dickie Roberts has gone the way of many former child stars. He’s bottomed-out in his life and desperately wants back into show business. He auditions for a role that could jump start his career, but because his childhood was anything but normal, the director believes he can’t identify with the part. Desperate to make this work, Dickie hires a family to take him in as one of their kids. But trying to get Dickie to assimilate to a normal family is the farthest thing from easy. With the role of a lifetime in the balance, he has to find a way to connect with the “real world” and fast!
