Overview

Dr. Sullivan Travis, an affluent gynecologist ever-popular with women, bonds with his female golf instructor in the wake of his wife’s nervous breakdown and subsequent institutionalization. At the same time, he presides over the foibles of his two daughters: the conflicted Dee Dee, soon to be married and suffering cold feet, and her oddball younger sister Connie. Meanwhile, he must also dodge the unrequited affections of his secretary Carolyn, and the meddling overtures of his sister-in-law Peggy.
