Overview

Georgia Byrd is a shy and quiet woman who has lived most of her life without ruffling any feathers or enjoying many of the comforts that life has to offer. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when she goes to the doctor and finds out that she has a terminal illness. With the doctor giving her only three weeks to live, she decides that she is going to live it up as much as she can in those last three weeks. Georgia uses her savings to take a European vacation. For the first time in her life, she does what she wants to do and learns how to really live. She dines extravagantly, travels joyously and even falls in love despite her ominous diagnosis.
