Twin teenage sisters Jane and Roxy Ryan don’t get along, but travel together to New York City on different missions. Jane, a straight-laced honor student, is hoping to win an important academic scholarship that can open doors for her to study overseas. Meanwhile the rebellious Roxy plans to sneak into a video shoot to see meet a punk band and give them her demo tape. When Jane’s day planner lands in the wrong hands, the twins are sent into a wild series of mishaps involving the black market, a computer chip and a senator’s dog. All the while they are pursued by truant officer Max Lomax, who is determined to get them back to school.
