A dark, sinister creature is causing earthquakes in the Hundred Acre Wood. Rabbit, Tigger, Pooh and the rest of the friends go off to search for the elusive heffalump that plagues the area. Roo, being too little, is left behind with his mother. Stubborn to start his own adventure, Roo looks for heffalumps on his own. He discovers Lumpy, a young heffalump, that just wants to make friends. As Roo tries to bring Lumpy home to the Hundred Acre Wood, Lumpy is frightened of the creatures there. Roo and Lumpy soon become the best of friends. They begin to learn about presumptions each community has of the other neighborhoods. As heffalumps and Pooh’s friends band together on a mission, friendship becomes the best prize in any neighborhood.
