IMDb Rating

Theater Date

August 17, 2007

Superbad is the quintessential “stoner movie.” It chronicles the misadventures of two teenagers attempting to get laid before their high school graduation. However, their attempts to do so hinge upon getting alcohol for a party. This leads them into a wild goose chase including cops and robbers, sex offenders, drunken lunatics, hobos and more. Tagging along is their nerdy misfit friend Fogul, who is sporting a fake ID that calls him “McLovin the Hawaiian Organ Donor.” Despite having an ID with only one name on it, Fogul seems to fool two fun-loving police officers and goes on a joyride with them as the other two try to get the liquor to the party and also get there in one piece.

R Rating

Superbad DVD/Blu-ray is rated R. R stands for ‘Restricted’, which means children under 17 require accompanying parent or adult guardian. The movie contains some adult material and parents are urged to learn more about the movie.
