Overview

Jack Ryan is a small-time conman who does not mean any one any harm and who has a positive outlook on life. When he moves to Hawaii to become a surf bum, he is recruited by a shady judge, Walter Crewes, to get close to some real big-time criminals. He ends up teamed with a thief, Nancy Hayes, who also happens to be the mistress of Ray Ritchie, who owns a string of hotels. Ryans job is further hindered by Richie’s assistant Bob Rodgers Jr. and another of Ritchie’s girlfriends. Ryan soon discovers that he is the only one of the group that does not have an ulterior motive.
