Overview

A young caregiver, Karen Davis, is assigned to take care of dementia-ridden Emma in suburban Tokyo. However, neither Karen nor Emma realizes that Emma’s new home is in the grip of a powerful curse. Many years before, the previous owner of the house killed his wife, son, their pet cat, and himself in a jealous rage. The strong emotions of rage and sorrow spawned a supernatural curse which continues to plague all who become associated with the house. Eventually, Karen tries to burn the house down. However, emergency personnel rescue Karen and the house is saved. As Karen visits the gravesite of her boyfriend, another victim of the curse, she realizes she is still haunted by the supernatural force that plagues the house.
