DVD & Blu-ray Release Date

DVD: The O.C. DVD release date is set for June 4, 2013. Dates do change so check back often as the release approaches.

Blu-ray: The O.C. Blu-ray will be available the same day as the DVD. Blu-ray and DVD releases are typically released around 12-16 weeks after the theatrical premiere.

Digital: The O.C. digital release from Amazon Video and iTunes will be available 1-2 weeks before the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K releases. The estimate release date is May 2013. The teen drama centers around a group of young adults that reside in Newport Beach, Calif. Ryan Francis Atwood, a troubled young man from Chino, Calif., is adopted by his attorney, Sandy Cohen, and his wife, Kirsten, after he gets in trouble with the law. His whole life changes as he makes the transition from a rough working class neighborhood to a luxurious lifestyle in a wealthy neighborhood. Ryan and his surrogate brother, Seth, end up becoming part of a close knit of friends that includes Marissa, Summer and Taylor. The friends end up going through dramatic events together and have to deal with subjects such as love affairs, sexuality, alcoholism, gambling addiction and are even forced to learn how to deal with death.
