High school friends Kyle and Matty have different reasons for going to college. Kyle wants to pursue an architecture degree at Cornell University while Matty wants to follow his girlfriend. They both share the same problem, though: Very ordinary SAT scores. An opportunity arises when they learn one of their classmates, Francesca, can gain access to the building that holds the test answers through her father. Three other classmates join the conspiracy, including honor student Anna, basketball star Desmond and the drug-addled Roy. The six set off on their caper, but meet one obstacle after another along the way. With their ultimate goal within reach, they realize that their happiness might not revolve around the SATs after all.
