A visitor from another planet who looks like a normal human comes to earth on a mission to find a female mate whom he can impregnate, and then bring woman and baby back to his home planet. His race is highly advanced intellectually, but they do not feel emotions. The men also do not have a penis, so the alien is equipped with an artificial device, which unfortunately creates a humming or vibrating sound when aroused. Comedic situations play out as the dating-inept alien makes bumbling attempts to find a woman, romance her and complete his mission.
